Milton drives out into the desert for hours, then pulls off to the side of the road to just listen. Milton tattoos himself with letters written in a secret language that he made up. Milton had a good childhood. Milton used to live out in the desert with his father. Milton would sit in the back seat when they went into the city. Milton watched the buildings from the back seat, sitting on his knees, and thought he was on the outskirts of heaven. Milton doesn’t watch tv. Milton owns a radio but leaves it switched off. Milton has a blueish flourescent light that he just sits at watches sometimes. Milton lives in Las Vegas. Milton works in the hotel as a blackjack dealer. Milton saves his money and gets a room in the hotel he works in. Milton gets a discount. Milton likes to turn off all the lights and just stand on the balcony just watching. Milton wishes he could fly. Milton thinks the balcony is too restricting because you can’t see half the sky. Milton has the key to the hotel roof. Milton goes up there alot. Milton does not see any constellations. Milton stands up there in his hotel jacket with his name embroidered in cursive on the left breast. Milton stands on the edge sometimes and just watches.
